Workshops happen from time to time and range in age groups and skill level. They also may be at different venues depending on availability or partnering local business. Workshops can last between 1 – 3 hours and will be focused on particular projects, art forms, or mediums. We aim to teach people of all ages different artistic skills with our workshops. Some workshops may be guest taught by other local artists or even visiting artists. Always check our social media or with us for the latest information on our workshops.
Want to put on a workshop of your own?
We can help facilitate that too. Just reach out to us today.
Artist Hours are specific workshops that tend to happen in the evenings during the week. They focus on a particular artist, medium, style, or movement. For 2 hours we will give a brief talk on the subject, share some works and sources, then move on to doing a project or two related to the Artist Hours topic for that evening. Artist Hours are usually geared for teens to adults, but there may be some for younger audiences at times. Seating tends to be limited, & tickets per event will be available for purchase online ahead of time and at the door.
The projects we offer and will be offering are meant to change based on the time of year, season, events, holidays, etc. That means some may be around for a limited time while others we may always have available. The projects might range in age and skill level, but we do our best to have projects everyone can do. Some projects may require later pickup and we can make arrangements for that. Sometimes we may have take home projects available for purchase. These will include all the necessary supplies and instructions to be able to complete the project on your own time and how you want. All of these projects are made possible by the donations from the community.
