Long & short we are a used art supplies store for the Marquette area.
Marquette (and the U.P.) are filled with artists and creatives but not many actual dedicated art supplies stores. That is where we come in. Through donations of art supplies we are able to re-home the right supplies to the artists who need it and will use it.
To enhance and encourage the
community through locally sourced art supplies, available projects, workshops, and events.
“Drop” is part of our name because it is part of what we are about. Drop off art supplies with us as a donation, drop in to buy art supplies, drop in to do a project, or drop in to buy a project to take home.
With our new dedicated location we are free to pop up at shows, markets, and other local businesses or events. Keep an eye
on our social media for our next pop up shop or workshops.
Katie & Joel both graduated from Columbia College Chicago and have backgrounds in art. Katie has a degree in photography, has
done floral design for many years, and has even run art activities for the elderly. Joel has a degree in animation, makes comics and drawings, and has worked as a graphic designer for over a decade. Together we have combined our knowledge and past skills to bring to the table in our shop. We look forward to teaching you more about the world of art.
Donating to our us is easy. If you have gently used art supplies you no longer need, and want to get it to a good home, just contact us. We will work with you to make arrangements on accepting your donations. We may not be able to accept all supplies in your donations. You can rest assured that your donated supplies will be put to good use and will be re-homed to another artist or involved in our projects or workshops. All donations are greatly appreciated and help fuel creativity in the greater Marquette community for people of all ages.
