FAQs - Frequently Asked Questions

What are your store hours?

Our hours may change. Please check Google and our social media for the latest updates on hours.

We are located at 129 W. Baraga Ave, Suite H. In the same building as Every Day Wines. Enter the double doors just west of Every Day Wines and follow the signs in the hallways. We are behind Every Day Wines and next to their Cheese Cave. We are in the same building as the Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum, but we are on the ground floor.

Gently used art supplies. Since all of the supplies is donated by the community there is no guarantee we will have what you are looking for. Feel free to call us, text us, or message us before coming in to ask if we have what you seek. All of our gently used art supplies are for very affordable prices in an effort to help the community.

You cannot drop off art supplies outside of store hours.
We can accept items during store hours but you must follow our DONATION POLICY

No, we cannot pick up donations from any where. We do not have a business vehicle, nor would it be in our best interest to have one now for those purposes. It is possible in a few years that we could.

The donated art supplies goes to a few different places.

  1. It can go onto our shop sales floor and become available for other artists to purchase for very low costs.
  2. It can be put into our store supplies that we use for our available in-store projects.
  3. It might go into what we use for workshops or events.
  4. It could be given to other groups or businesses in need of those supplies especially if we have a surplus or they have an immediate need.

We are so glad you asked. Simply we are here to provide affordable and accessible art supplies to the incredibly creative community of Marquette, Marquette County, and the Upper Peninsula. We also offer available creative space for anyone to use during store hours, we have available drop-in projects, we are building take home project kits, we run events, and we host workshops to help better teach the community different art skills.

There are a lot of reasons to shop with or support us, but the biggest one is because we are not a big store. One of our goals is to save art supplies from going to the landfill by getting it into the hands of artists that will use it instead of tossing it. The art supplies we have for sale is far more affordable than brand new from chain or online retailers. The money that is spent in our shop gets funneled back into the projects we do and supporting our community.

This is both a yes and a no. We try to have projects available for all ages and all skill levels. As we rotate projects it can vary, but we try to always have projects for all ages.
